When COVID-19 cancelled the iconic GAA All-Ireland Championship in 2020, AIB’s biggest sponsorship—and its connection with fans—was at risk.

We pivoted by celebrating GAA figures whose actions reflected unity and resilience in their communities. With no games, we shifted focus from sport to the spirit behind it.

The result? Not a single minute of Championship football was played that summer, yet by the end, we had achieved AIB’s most successful GAA sponsorship campaign in over thirty years
